The Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance is hosting a webinar Thursday, October 1, from 10-11 AM PDT about the results and methodology behind a new study comparing luminaire-level lighting controls with networked lighting controls.
Ask the Lighting Experts: What 1:1 Replacement Means for Energy Savings and Light Quality
Thursday, October 1st 10-11 AM PDT
There’s a lot of buzz about the benefits of luminaire level lighting controls (LLLC), from space flexibility to simplicity of installation, energy savings and beyond. Now, a new research study shows LED retrofits with luminaire level lighting controls have the potential to save just as much energy as investing in a full commercial lighting redesign. For this first-of-its-kind research, experts from the University of Oregon and the NEEA studied a 1,000 sq.ft. office space, analyzing the amount of energy saved when fluorescent lights were individually retrofitted with an LED equipped with LLLC compared to a complete redesign.
