Lutron Introduces Tunable-White LED Downlight Driver and Sequence of Operations Guide

Tunable white lighting can play a role in making spaces more comfortable and flexible with light that dynamically changes its color temperature over time. The adoption of tunable white has not yet been widespread, in part due to complexity. Now, with Lutron’s new T-Series downlight driver, specifying tunable white is easier than ever, according to the company.

University of Oregon Evaluates Impact of Daylight, Views, and Controllable Lighting

In August 2019, the University of Oregon published a whitepaper, “The Impact of Lighting and Views in the Workplace of the Future.” The paper concludes that daylighted spaces with controlled lighting and views can improve occupant well-being, workplace productivity, and satisfaction by positively influencing various physiological and psychological processes. Lighting and views also impact property value and employee recruitment and retention, the researchers said.

Lutron Electronics Introduces Connected In-Wall Sensors for Vive Wireless System

Lutron Electronics recently introduced two new Maestro Wireless in-wall sensors for its Vive simple, scalable, wireless solution. The new, 0-10 V dimmer/sensor model combines automated, occupancy-based control of light, manual dimming control, and wireless communication to other Vive system devices in a single piece of hardware.
