AVI-ON LABS
Relay Control Panel Retrofit Assembly
The Relay Panel Retrofit Assembly fully replaces all control logic functions of relay panels without requiring the replacement of the actual relays or high voltage wiring. The Avi-on RCI controllers provide relay control, 0-10V dimming, and all operational functions, effectively upgrading the panel to a state-of-the-art control system.
The units come pre-wired in 8-relay, fully assembled, UL-listed configurations. Simply remove the existing controls, snap in as many 8-unit blocks as needed (supports up to 72 relay panels), install the provided power supplies and connect the pre-terminated relay control and 0-10V dimming wires. The system then becomes a fully supported Avi-on system with the full feature set of the Avi-on control platform with fully extensible wireless capabilities.
Existing sensors and wall stations are replaced with Avi-on units. Avi-on offers battery-powered switches and remote sensors that communicate wirelessly back to the panel, delivering a solution with no new wiring required. Avi-on will soon release low-voltage AC/DC versions of its wall station line, designed to run on existing 24V AC/DC wiring and power supplies.

UL924 Zone Controllers & Normal Power Beacon
The Emergency mode XFAC is a highly capable wireless zone controller that also provides UL 924 2022 emergency fixture compliance by turning the light on and setting maximum dim value upon receiving a wireless signal from the Avi-on UL924 SIM. 16A Lighting rated relay, high capacity 0-10V dimming, and multiple sensor integration options make this a single component solution for an entire zone-based control solution for normal power, and an emergency shunt relay override for emergency fixtures.
The Avi-on® UL 924 SIM normal power beacon provides a cost-effective mean of detecting the presence or absence of normal power to trigger emergency lighting modes. The sensor is compliant with the 2022 UL 924 revisions. Only a single detector is needed per transfer switch. The sensor sends a wireless signal to an emergency control device wired with an emergency-enabled Avi-on XFAC to trigger the required controls override when there is a loss of normal power. When used with the Avi-on XFAC in zone-based or individual fixture control applications, the addition of shunt relays can be completely avoided.
The contact closure input can also be connected to the emergency trigger output of UPS, building fire and safety systems, or other contact input sources.

IR-TEC AMERICA
MOT-280
Using PIR sensors on high bays has always been a great way to get the lights off. Now getting the lights to turn back on can present some issues. The important factors for detection of an object are the object being in motion, the object projecting enough IR, and there being a discernable difference between the objects IR signal and the background.
The object in motion means that the person, forklift, etc., are moving and projecting IR to the sensor. Today we must overcome electric forklifts that do not give off the quantity of IR that older propane models did. We also are seeing more and more forklifts that have safety glass around the drivers. Finally, in parts of the US where there is extreme heat, the surrounding temperature can be equal to the person you are trying to detect and mask their IR. While our sensors have the best lensing you can find, sometimes the environment is just too much to overcome or there just isn’t enough IR being presented.
IR-TEC has the MOT-280. You can mount the MOT-280 to a forklift, and it will send out an “On” signal ahead of you triggering the lights to turn on.
