This collaboration highlights the growing significance of innovative lighting control systems, which are transforming the industry by enhancing retrofit projects, streamlining automation, and creating seamless user experiences.
The NLB has introduced a newly added Special Citations category for “Lighting Control Integrations” where the Lighting Control Association will lend its expertise as judges. This category will spotlight cutting-edge implementations and elevate the standard of excellence in lighting control solutions.
Mary Beth Gotti, chair, National Lighting Bureau, and Transformation Awards Founder stated, “We at the NLB are very excited to announce the collaboration with the Lighting Controls Association to recognize outstanding lighting controls design and implementation in retrofit projects.”
“Advanced lighting controls offer vast potential to save energy and decarbonize, enhance the occupant experience, and yield data-rich insights in existing buildings,” said Craig DiLouie, LC, CLCP, education director for the Lighting Controls Association. “The National Lighting Bureau is taking a major step in demonstrating these benefits by recognizing superior existing construction projects. We are excited to support this new award to highlight the terrific value of advanced lighting controls for building owners and managers.”

Winning projects will be recognized during the 2024 NALMCO Annual Convention and Trade Show in Orlando, Florida, October 13-16, 2024.
