JOT Wireless Solution from Sensor Switch Enables App-Free Pairing for Single Room Controls

09/03/2020 by Lighting Controls Association Leave a Comment

Sensor Switch, an Acuity Brands, Inc. company, recently announced the Just One Touch (JOT) wireless solution, which enables single touch pairing of JOT-enabled controls, luminaires and other lighting controls capabilities without the need for 0-10V dimming wires, mobile apps or additional software. JOT-enabled products are integrated with a Bluetooth® radio to wirelessly control switching, dimming, daylight harvesting and detection.

Designed with contractors in mind, the JOT-enabled wireless solution shortens the installation and pairing process: lighting fixtures and controls are quickly installed without using dimming wires, and pairing each device or fixture is as simple as inserting the pairing tool into a pinhole and then pressing and holding any button for six seconds. Once paired, each fixture will be fully functional and individually dim down to 10 percent brightness.

JOT wireless app-free pairing technology features:

• Wireless dimming and switching without the need for 0-10V wires
• Product pairing without having to use mobile apps or laptops
• Convertible neutral-to-ground for wall switches
• Occupancy and daylight sensing to aid in code compliance

The JOT-enabled product portfolio includes a variety of wall switches and sensors with dimming, occupancy and daylight harvesting capabilities that are compatible with a wide selection of JOT-embedded lighting fixtures available in troffers/lay-ins, panels/strips, downlights and wraparound styles. These lighting fixtures can be configured to suit the needs of the space and aid with simple code compliance and energy efficiency.
