Leviton GreenMAX DRC Room Control Systems Wins 2020 EC&M Product of the Year Award

05/25/2020 by Lighting Controls Association Leave a Comment

Leviton recently announced its GreenMAX® DRC Room Control System won the 2020 EC&M Product of the Year Award in the Lighting Controls Category. GreenMAX DRC provides a secure, simple, and scalable distributed control system that can manage virtually any type of lighting for any application or building size.

“We are excited that the Leviton GreenMAX DRC Room Control System was recognized as a winner by the EC&M judges of expert professionals in the industry,” said Tom Leonard, vice president of controls at Leviton. “This product changes the way our customers specify, design, and install lighting controls.”

The GreenMAX DRC Room Control System uses wired LumaCAN high-performance networking for communication between devices and wireless Ethernet for configuration and backbone connectivity. Fully encrypted for security and secure communication with multiple levels of user privilege and controlled user access, the system is not dependent on internet connectivity for operation or configuration.

GreenMAX DRC is also fully configurable with the Bluetooth-enabled GreenMAX DRC App, the only setup tool needed. Users can wirelessly configure system preferences, group and scene settings, daylighting behaviors, and more. In addition, GreenMAX DRC can be used to comply with IECC, ASHRAE 90.1, and 2019 Title 24, Part 6 lighting control requirements.

Users can also integrate the GreenMAX DRC with Leviton’s Sapphire™ Touchscreen for a configurable user interface or GreenMAX Relay Control Panels for additional control capabilities.
