This new addition adds yet another dimension to Lutron’s intelligent fluorescent lighting control solution. EcoSystem is extremely flexible, and delivers dramatic, verifiable energy savings for any fluorescent lighting system.
At the heart of EcoSystem are digitally addressable ballasts that offer plug-and-play adaptability to control most types of fluorescent lamps. With other system components like daylight sensors and occupancy/vacancy sensors, EcoSystem ballasts help customers trim their lighting electric bill by 40 percent or more.
As with all EcoSystem components, the new CFL ballast is adaptable, with one model that can control both 26W and 32W T4 lamps. It’s energy efficient, with ultra-low (<1W) stand-by power requirements. And it’s scalable, appropriate for everything from a single room to an entire building. The CFL ballast can dim lights down to 5 percent. Customers operate EcoSystem through a variety of control options including GRAFIK Eye QS and Quantum. With the wireless GRAFIK Eye QS, EcoSystem is an easy retrofit in an existing space. This versatile unit can control EcoSystem ballasts, Hi-Lume 3D ballasts and Hi-lume LED drivers at any voltage without interfaces.
