Universal Lighting Technologies brings parallel lamp operation to step-dimming applications with the new LevelPRO family of high-efficiency ballasts.
Flip one switch to cut power to lighting fixtures by 50 percent; flip another to cut the lights off entirely. And the entire lighting fixture remains evenly illuminated whether at full or half power.
Ideal for classrooms, offices, and all spaces requiring compliance with energy codes for lighting control, the new LevelPRO ballast is available in either universal voltage (120-277 VAC) or 347 VAC input. Two new models are available. One drives T8 lamps at high ballast factor, and the other drives both T8 and T5 lamps at normal ballast factor. Both have extensive secondary application lists, including energy-saving lamps and single-lamp applications. These ballasts also feature ultra fast start times (<700 milliseconds), and they make it easy to comply with the strictest energy codes. LevelPRO is CEE listed and qualifies for the NEMA Premium Electronic Ballast Program as one of the most energy-efficient T8 fluorescent ballasts on the market today. And parallel lamp operation helps minimize maintenance costs throughout the life of the ballast.

This short video, produced by the Lighting Controls Association at the 2011 LIGHTFAIR event, introduces the building industry to Jump Lighting by Philips Ledalite.
Jump is a new portfolio of high performance direct luminaires that integrate daylight harvesting with the latest in light emitting diode (LED) or advanced fluorescent light sources. With more than two-thirds of today’s commercial buildings still using outdated lighting technologies, Jump offers building owners enhanced energy-efficiency without compromising on light quality.
Jump delivers optimal lighting distribution, consistent color and exceptional system performance for commercial applications such as office, education, library, health and retail spaces. Its unique LEDLOGIQ™ design approach to LED features MesoOptics holographic nanotechnology, which makes spaces more visually comfortable by optimally blending light and color, controlling high angle glare and creating a precisely-controlled batwing distribution, while concealing the light source. In addition, Jump features integrated Response™ daylight harvesting sensors that can extend LED sustainability benefits by further reducing energy consumption up to another 35 percent.
Available in a wide variety of light sources, patterns, colors and mounting options, the Jump portfolio also features an easy “plug and play” installation that simplifies maintenance, upgrades or replacement. The LED option has an expected life of 60,000 hours and carries a 5-year guarantee on the entire luminaire system (fixture, driver and LEDs).

This short video, produced by the Lighting Controls Association at the 2011 LIGHTFAIR event, introduces the building industry to Universal Lighting Technologies’ Demand Control Lighting (DCL) solution.
DCL is designed to save time and money on installation, significantly lower energy consumption, and reduce payback periods.
DEMANDflex ballasts are high-efficiency program-start ballasts with the flexibility to be tuned at the circuit level to set power levels during initial installation. When combined with DCL controls, they are part of the most cost-effective lighting energy management system available.
DCL System Controls put you in command of your lighting energy costs. Reduce lighting power levels by up to 50% through a variety of control options. Incorporate scheduling and load shedding lighting strategies to reduce peak demand charges.
Integrate DCL controls with other energy management controls for additional savings from daylight harvesting to occupancy sensors. DCL systems can be controlled from a local building management system or networked for control over the internet for demand response lighting control.
