After taking a brief introductory course, select short learning modules as needed to customize your learning experience. You can receive education credit by taking a comprehension test at the end of each module; a passing grade enables you to download a certification of completion that awards credit.
Education Express courses are registered with NCQLP for LEU credit towards Lighting Certified (LC) certification maintenance.
Select Education Express courses are also required as prerequisites to qualifying for California Advanced Lighting Controls Training Program (CALTCP) training and certification, including EE101 Introduction to Lighting Control, EE102 Switching Control, EE103 Fluorescent Dimming, and EE201 Daylight Harvesting. All certificates available for these courses, totaling 150 CALCTP points, must be collected and presented to CALCTP as proof of attendance. Note that EE101, however, does not have a test and therefore there is no certificate for this one.
CEUs are also available for other purposes, although students should note that Education Express courses have not been formally registered with state licensing boards, etc.
