WattStopper recently announced the appointment of Chester L. “Chip” Brown III as Vice President of Service. In his new position at WattStopper, Brown will lead the service organization, including design support, application engineering, field technical services, and technical support teams.
Brown has held numerous senior positions with Fortune 500 companies. Most recently, Brown served as Vice President of Global Support Services for Avaya Communications. Under his direction, the company achieved industry recognition as a world class services and support organization, earning four consecutive J.D. Power and Associates awards for Technology Service and Support Organization and Outstanding Customer Service. Prior to that, he guided the continuous evolution of Oracle’s 3,500-employee Global Product Support Organization. Brown earned his BS in Business Information Systems from University of Phoenix and his MS in Management/IS from Colorado Technical University.
