I notice that it is now becoming very similar to Title 24, except for the residential section, which is still a humungous loophole. But in commercial lighting, the similarity is very important to note, especially the daylighting, controls and power density requirements. I worry, however, about the simplified assumption that lighting can always be cut 30% by power (watts). This kind of thinking is wrong and dangerous. Until there is an improvement in lighting system efficiency, the power numbers are very close the minimum needed to meet IES HB10 recommendations.
