DALI Awards Open for Entries

The DALI Alliance (DiiA) recently announced the call for entries to the inaugural DALI Lighting Awards. Held in association with arc (the international architectural lighting design magazine) and the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD), the awards will showcase and celebrate the best use of DALI control solutions in lighting projects across the world while also recognizing the importance of producing great quality illumination.

Out of 685 submissions, 11 designers were recognized for outstanding lighting design projects, with 288 designers receiving an Award of Merit. Two projects received an Award of Excellence in a special category, Lighting Control Innovation, sponsored by the Lighting Controls Association.

McWong Implements TruBlu Control Network at Yamaha Motors

McWong International teamed with project partners Contemporary Energy Solutions, Pentalux, and Silvair to deploy a large TruBlu™ control network at Yamaha Motors’ midwestern distribution center, located in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. The SIG-qualified TruBlu mesh control network consists of 320 nodes and 40 control zones encompassing the 175,000 ft2 facility, and estimated energy savings exceed 250,000 kWh.
