DesignLights Consortium Announces Industry Advisory Committee Members

Multiple Wall Switch Series from SensorSwitch Offer Enhanced Aesthetics and New Functionality

SensorSwitch™, an Acuity Brands company, has announced improved functionality and aesthetics for its WSXA Series of wall switch occupancy/vacancy sensors.  The WSXA Series now features a multi-way option (MWO) for connecting up to nine switches on a single traveler for occupancy/daylight and manual switch on/off/dimming control from any switch, best applied in spaces with multiple entryways such as conference rooms, long hallways, restrooms, and breakrooms.

JOT Wireless Solution from Sensor Switch Enables App-Free Pairing for Single Room Controls

Sensor Switch, an Acuity Brands, Inc. company, recently announced the Just One Touch (JOT) wireless solution, which enables single touch pairing of JOT-enabled controls, luminaires and other lighting controls capabilities without the need for 0-10V dimming wires, mobile apps or additional software. JOT-enabled products are integrated with a Bluetooth® radio to wirelessly control switching, dimming, daylight harvesting and detection.

Acuity Brands Announces Acquisition of LocusLabs, Inc.

Acuity Brands, Inc. recently announced it has acquired LocusLabs, Inc., a leading indoor mapping and location platform. The LocusLabs software platform supports navigation applications (apps) used on mobile devices, web browsers and digital displays in airports, event centers, multi-floor office buildings and campuses. Visitors employing LocusLabs’ software can easily search, explore and navigate large, complex indoor spaces.
