This educational video, produced by the Lighting Controls Association at the 2019 LIGHTFAIR event, introduces the building industry to Current by GE’s Daintree EZ Connect, a distributed room-based lighting controls solution.
With luminaires that easily join together for long continuous runs of uniform lights and flexible install variations, Current, powered by GE’s LAL Series 2nd Gen provides a unique customizable LED solution for retail and commercial spaces. This Daintree controls compatible product line includes Current’s patented TriGainTM color technology in recessed and suspended configurations.
GE recently announced it has completed the sale of its Current, powered by GE business unit to American Industrial Partners (AIP), a New York-based private equity firm focused on buying, improving and growing industrial businesses. Financial details were not disclosed.
Current, powered by GE’s RPL is the company’s first flat panel retrofit kit with integrated lighting control sensors.
