Acuity Brands, Inc. recently announced that CLAIRITY™ Link by nLight® and SensorSwitch™ SSW Series: Sealed Wall Plates were selected for the 2022 Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) Progress Report, which showcases the year’s most significant advancements in the art and science of lighting. Selections were made by an impartial committee that evaluated submissions based on uniqueness, innovation, and significance to the lighting industry.

CLAIRITY Link from nLight allows factory representative experts to program, troubleshoot, monitor, support, and update nLight networked sites remotely, reducing the need for in-person visits and offering quick response to assist with facility operations and management. The router serves as a connection point for one or more nLight ECLYPSE™ controllers and the CLAIRITY Link Portal. Through the portal, factory and factory representative experts can configure items such as system device settings, system sequence of operations, and system lighting schedules. Hardware installs easily and is powered by the same power supply as the controller, and ships with 12 months free access over Ethernet. Encryption is implemented between every connection point, ensuring data privacy and preventing unauthorized access.
SSW Series: Sealed Wall Plates from SensorSwitch are designed to protect wall switch devices from liquid, while blending perfectly into the design of the space. Each wall plate is designed to stop liquid from entering the device by including a clear silicone rubber layer overlayed on the wall switch. The rubber layer allows cleaning personnel to sterilize vigorously without damaging the device and while maintaining a button tactile feel. All wall plates come in a matte texture and three popular color finishes. They are designed to protect the user from electrical shock and device damage from foreign objects and are made from a tough thermoplastic material that can withstand high impact without breakage. The Sealed Wall Plates also carry an IP54 Rating.
