The Lighting Controls Association has announced that Gary Meshberg, LEED AP, LC, IES has been re-elected Chair for the 2018-2019 term.
Meshberg is Director of Sales for OSRAM ENCELIUM. A 30+-year industry veteran, he previously served as Director of Marketing, VP of Sales, and Specification Business Manager for major lighting manufacturers. He chairs the IES Lighting Commissioning Committee, previously served as past Education Chair for the Dallas Section, and founded and served as Chair of the Home Lighting Control Alliance. He previously served as Chair of LCA 2008-2012 and 2016-17.
Charles Knuffke, Systems Vice President and Evangelist for Legrand’s Wattstopper product line—focused on advancing the company’s Digital Lighting Management (DLM) products—has been elected to the position of Vice Chair.
For more than 30 years, Knuffke has been an educator on controls, working in the field with engineers, contractors, distributors, and building owners to design, install, and start up lighting control systems for virtually every type of project.
Maria Northup of NEMA serves as the association’s executive director, secretary and treasurer, and Craig DiLouie, LC, CLCP, IES, principal of ZING Communications, Inc., serves as education director.
For more than 15 years, the Lighting Controls Association, a council of the National Electrical Manufacturers Association, has educated the professional lighting community about lighting control technology and application.
