The Lighting Controls Association is pleased to announce that EE105: Lighting Control System Design has been added to the Association’s popular online Education Express distance education courses.
Residing here, Education Express provides in-depth education about lighting control and controllable ballast technology, application, system design and commissioning, as well as meta-issues such as commissioning, energy codes, daylight harvesting and other trends.
Design is the process of delivering a control system that satisfies owner project requirements and the design intent. EE105: Lighting Control System Design, authored by industry educator Craig DiLouie, LC, provides a basic roadmap to the design process, including programming, basis of design, control zoning and design development.
An optional online comprehension test is available at the end of each of the course’s four learning modules, with automatic grading; a passing grade enables the student to claim education credit. EE105: Lighting Control System Design is registered with:
* Starting February 1, 2013: AIA Continuing Education System learning hours, 1.5 LU/HSW/SD per module, or 6 in total, with a passing grade of 80+% required.
* The National Council on Quality in the Lighting Professions (NCQLP), which recognizes a total of 1.5 LEUs/module, or 6 in total, towards maintenance of Lighting Certified (LC) certification.
Education is free, available 24/7, and registration is fast and easy. Click here to start your education experience today with Education Express.
